If you’re self-employed (a side-hustler, freelancer, solopreneur, remote worker, or digital nomad), it’s likely that you love the work you do and enjoy the flexibility, autonomy, and work-life balance that such a career offers. I know, because I do too! However, such a work-life style isn’t risk-free, particularly when it comes to your most important piece of equipment; your computer.
Without the support and expertise of an IT department behind you, your computer and the data it holds will be much more vulnerable to threats than would otherwise be the case.
Do you feel overworked, underpaid, and undervalued in your day job?
Are you a highly skilled and experienced professional who longs for more fulfilment, flexibility, autonomy, and recognition? Do you want to do enjoyable and fulfilling work on your own terms? If so, then episode two of "Bossing I.T. Up!" is for you just for you!
It’s finally here! Dual-SIM support for WhatsApp!...Kind of.
You may remember a post I published a while ago about paper business cards and why I've stopped using them. Well, I wish I'd known about this little gem of a mobile app back then.

She asked me for my number so I told her that my number hadn't changed. It's actually the same one I've had since 1994! She then explained that she had recently changed phones and hadn't yet transferred all of her contacts. I then made a face similar to the one below.
So this morning I was driving down the M25. It was pouring down with rain, I was tired, bored, with only Google map’s occasional voice directions for company. My son was with me but he was fast asleep and snoring his head off.
After a few minutes of driving, I spotted in front of me the car in the picture above. This isn’t the actual picture (I’m sure you wouldn’t approve of me taken a photo while driving on the motorway) but it is the actual car.

This weekend I met with a prospective partner to discuss some business support options. It was a highly productive meeting, but more about that later.
I’ve been to a lot of networking events. A lot! I still do from time to time. I’ve met and connected with some very interesting people at such events, and I’ve given out a lot of business cards. A lot! But after years of attending such events, one thing has never, ever happened to me...
