This weekend I met with a prospective partner to discuss some business support options. It was a highly productive meeting, but more about that later.
ââI'm an avid supporter of local business, so when this tweet appeared in my feed on Saturday morning, I promptly texted my prospect and suggested a change of venue.
The Sausages
Heap's Sausages has two branches, both located in my home borough of Greenwich. The Creek Road branch is currently closed for refurbishment so we went to the branch on Nevada Street.
The café has a nice range of gourmet sausages in various flavours and serves everything else you'd expect from a café. The all day breakfast I had was delicious! And the mushrooms came in this creamy sauce that I could have eaten all on its own. The Signup

We decided on one of my small business support packages, specifically, the IMPACT package. This package combines:
She was extremely impressed with the offering and I'm pleased to say that she's signed up! When we really got talking, we were both coming up with some great ideas for launching her website and for marketing her business in the long-term. It was as if inspiration took over and everything just flowed! I'm almost certain that the atmosphere at Heap's played some part in this. I'm very excited about working with her and will definitely include details about our work in future posts. The Lesson
Atmosphere makes a big difference! The location where you choose to conduct business (negotiations in particular) can have a positive effect on the outcome of the meeting. This being the case, it stands to reason that the converse is also true.
So, from now on I'll be making more of an effort to have business meetings in more fun, exciting, and yummy places. And if those places contain gourmet sausages, I won't complain. Thanks for reading! Comment and Share
